Al-Baith: The Resurrector
Explanation of the name Al-Baith
Al-Baith is the One Who resurrects creation after death: He brings them back to life and gathers them for the reckoning, so that He may recompense those who did evil for what they did and reward those who did good with what is best. According to another view, He is the One Who raises His servants up after a fall and revives them after they have been struck down.

الباعث: هو الذي يبعث الخلق بعد الموت، أي: يحييهم فيحشرهم للحساب ليجزي الذين أساؤوا بما عملوا، ويجزي الذين أحسنوا بالحسنى. ويقال: هو الذي يبعث عباده عند السقطة وينعشهم بعد الصرعة.
