About Assabile

Assabile (السبيل, “the path”) started in 2008 to make the Quran accessible to everyone: to listen to it, read it and understand it, for free and with no sign-up.

Today the site brings together 526 reciters and 58,868 recitations, 13,890 hours of audio, in the twenty canonical riwayas, with the Arabic text, its translations and its explanation.

Assabile is funded by advertising, shown in reserved spaces and never within the Quran text or on anasheed pages.
