Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,
Boy Arabic origin Naʿīm
In the Quran“Bliss, delight”; the gardens of bliss
The word as it is recited in the Quran: Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary, Al-Infitar 82:13.
The word occurs seventeen times in the Quran, often in the expression “the gardens of bliss” (jannat al-naʿim, 56:12); “The righteous will be in bliss” (82:13). Surah al-Takathur also warns: “Then on that day you will be asked about the delights” (102:8).
Naʿim comes from the root n-ʿ-m of the sweetness of life and of favour (niʿma, “grace”; naʿama, “to live in ease”): it means abundance of blessings and a happy life. It should not be confused with Nuʿaym, a diminutive of the same root, borne by the Companion Nuʿaym ibn Masʿud. Naeem is common in South Asia, Naim in Turkey and the Balkans.
Yes: the word Naeem appears in the Quran 17 times, in 15 surahs.
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,
In the Gardens of Pleasure,
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allāh, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.
