سورة الفيل
Surah Al-Fil has 5 verses on one page of the Madinah mushaf (page 601), in juz 30. It is learned in a single portion: listen to it, repeat it, hide it bit by bit, then recite it from memory.

Tajweed rules
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ ١
1. Have you not considered, [O Muḥammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?1992
[1992] i.e., the army under the command of Abrahah al-Ashram which was accompanied by a huge elephant and came with the intention of destroying the Kaʿbah at Makkah.
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ ٢
2. Did He not make their plan into misguidance?1993
[1993] Causing them to perish.
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ٣
3. And He sent against them birds in flocks,
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ٤
4. Striking them with stones of hard clay,
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭ ٥
5. And He made them like eaten straw.1994
[1994] i.e., husks which have been chewed by cattle. This event took place in the year of the Prophet's birth.
One verse of Surah Al-Fil resembles other verses of the Quran: a classic trap when reciting from memory. The closest ones:
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
Recite what follows from memory. Next verse:
Read the portion while following a reciter, verse by verse, until you can say it without hesitation.
Repeat each verse several times with a pause to say it after the reciter, then join the verses together.
Hide one word in three, then two in three, then keep only the first letters, and finally the whole text.
Recite from memory: get tested on what follows a random verse, record yourself or recite to someone.
Come back to each portion the next day, then at longer and longer intervals, and review before learning something new.
