Their meat will not reach Allāh, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.
Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muḥammad], al-Kawthar. So pray to your Lord and offer sacrifice [to Him alone]. Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice,
But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
(The performance of) 'Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous 'Umrah; and the reward of Hajj Mabrur (i.e., one accepted) is nothing but Jannah.

Frequently asked questions
What does “Tabaski” mean?
It is the name for Eid al-Adha in West Africa (Senegal, Mali, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire…). The same festival is also called Eid el-Kebir in the Maghreb and Kurban Bayramı in Turkey. The greetings are the same: “Eid Mubarak”, “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum”.
How do you reply to Eid al-Adha greetings?
“Minna wa minkum” (from us and from you) to “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum”, “Eid Mubarak” in return, or a dua: “may Allah accept your sacrifice and your prayers”.
What does “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum” mean?
“May Allah accept from us and from you”: the words the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ exchanged on Eid (reported with a good chain, according to Ibn Hajar). The reply is “minna wa minkum”.
How do I create a greeting card?
Pick the occasion and a message (or write your own), type the person’s name and tap “Send the card”: your phone offers WhatsApp, Instagram or your messages. On a computer, download or copy the image.
Are the name and photo sent anywhere?
No. The card is drawn in your browser: the name, the text and your photo never leave your device.
How do I write a name in Arabic on the card?
Tick “Also write the names in Arabic” under “Customise the card”: the usual spelling is suggested for more than 300 names (and an automatic transcription for the others, to be checked). You can always correct it.
