    Frequently asked questions

What dua do you say to someone setting off on a journey?

“Astawdiʿullaha dinaka, wa amanataka, wa khawatima ʿamalik” (I entrust to Allah your religion, your trusts and the last of your deeds, at-Tirmidhi 3443) and “Zawwadakallahut-taqwa…” (at-Tirmidhi 3444). The traveler replies: “Astawdiʿukumullahal-ladhi la tadiʿu wada’iʿuh” (I entrust you to Allah, with whom nothing entrusted to Him is ever lost, Ibn Majah 2825).

How do I create a greeting card?

Pick the occasion and a message (or write your own), type the person’s name and tap “Send the card”: your phone offers WhatsApp, Instagram or your messages. On a computer, download or copy the image.

Are the name and photo sent anywhere?

No. The card is drawn in your browser: the name, the text and your photo never leave your device.

How do I write a name in Arabic on the card?

Tick “Also write the names in Arabic” under “Customise the card”: the usual spelling is suggested for more than 300 names (and an automatic transcription for the others, to be checked). You can always correct it.
