سورة الحاقة، الآية ١٢
لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٌ وَٰعِيَةٌ ١٢
linajʿalahā lakum tadhkiratan wataʿiyahā udhunun wāʿiyatun
That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it.
Verse 12 of Surah Al-Haqqah (69:12), a Meccan surah, is in juz 29, on page 567 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.

So that I could let the ark and its tale become a lesson through which proof of the destruction of the people of disbelief could be taken, together with the saving of the people of faith, and so attentive ears could take heed.
so that We might make it a reminder for you, and that attentive ears may take heed.
That We might make it (Noah’s ship) an admonition for you and that it might be retained by the retaining ears.
That We might make it a memorial for you, and that remembering ears (that heard the story) might remember.
That We might make it a Message unto you, and that ears (that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its (lessons) in remembrance.
So that We may make it a reminder to you, and that the retaining ear might retain it.
That We might make it a Reminder for you and for heeding ear (s) to heed.
وَٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ …
And who created the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which you mount …
وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ …
And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship. …
