سورة الشعراء، الآية ٢٢٦
وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ ٢٢٦
wa-annahum yaqūlūna mā lā yafʿalūna
And that they say what they do not do? -

وَمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
And We did not give him [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur’ān
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ …
[That] indeed, it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is the word of a noble Messenger. …
