سورة المطففين، الآية ٢٦
خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌ وَفِى ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ ٢٦
khitāmuhu mis'kun wafī dhālika falyatanāfasi l-mutanāfisūna
The last of it1884 is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.
[1884] i.e., its lingering odor.
Verse 26 of Surah Al-Mutaffifin (83:26), a Meccan surah, is in juz 30, on page 588 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.
80 recitations by 74 reciters: pick one and it plays in the player.
It will give off the fragrance of musk until its very end. For this noble reward the competitors must compete, by doing what pleases Allah and leaving what angers Him.
whose last sip is musk5 – let those who strive, strive for that –
[5] i.e., having a lingering odor.
The last thereof (that wine) will be the smell of Musk, and for this let (all) those strive who want to strive (i.e. hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allah).
Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -
The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations:
The sealing of it is (with) musk; and for that let the aspirers aspire.
Whose sealing is musk; for this then let the competitors compete-
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ
For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work.
