سورة الطارق، الآية ١٧
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا ١٧
famahhili l-kāfirīna amhil'hum ruwaydan
So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.1905
[1905] i.e., Do not be in haste for revenge, for you will see what will become of them.
Verse 17 of Surah At-Tariq (86:17), a Meccan surah, is in juz 30, on page 591 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.

So give respite, O Messenger, to these disbelievers. Give them respite for a short while, and do not seek to hasten their punishment and destruction.
So bear with the disbelievers, and give them respite for a while5.
[5] i.e., Do not be in haste in seeking their punishment and destruction.
So give a respite to the disbelievers; deal gently with them for a while.
So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while.
Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile).
So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while.
So give the disbelievers (more) leisure; give them leisure awhile.
نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ
We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a massive punishment.
