سورة الشعراء، الآية ٨٧
وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ ٨٧
walā tukh'zinī yawma yub'ʿathūna
And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected -

Do not humiliate me with punishment on the day people are resurrected to be taken to account.
and do not disgrace me on the Day when all will be resurrected –
And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected.
And abase me not on the day when they are raised,
"And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up;-
And disgrace me not on the day when they are raised
And do not disgrace me the Day when they are made to rise (again),
" إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ـ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ ـ رَأَى أَبَاهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَيْهِ الْغَبَرَةُ وَالْقَتَرَةُ "
يَلْقَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَبَاهُ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّكَ وَعَدْتَنِي أَنْ لاَ تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ إِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الْجَنَّةَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ "
