سورة الشعراء، الآية ١٥٣
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ ١٥٣
qālū innamā anta mina l-musaḥarīna
They said, "You are only of those affected by magic.
Verse 153 of Surah Ash-Shu’ara (26:153), a Meccan surah, is in juz 19, on page 373 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.

His people said to him, “You are surely one of those who have been bewitched repeatedly until the magic has overpowered your intellect and driven you crazy.”
They said, “You are but one of those who are bewitched!
They said: "You are only of those bewitched!
They said: Thou art but one of the bewitched;
They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched!
They said: You are only of the deluded ones;
They said, "Surely you are only one of the utterly bewitched.
أَءُلْقِىَ ٱلذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ …
Has the message been sent down upon him from among us? Rather, he is an insolent liar." …
They share a sequence of words with this verse: useful for telling them apart when memorising.
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ
They said, "You are only of those affected by magic.
وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَآ ءَايَةً مَّكَانَ ءَايَةٍ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُفْتَرٍۭ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allāh is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muḥammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know.
