Text of verse 37:75

وَلَقَدْ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ ۝٧٥

Transliteration

walaqad nādānā nūḥun falaniʿ'ma l-mujībūna

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.

Al-Mukhtasar

Verily, My Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) called out to Me when he supplicated against his people who had rejected him. I am the best of answerers; I quickly answered his supplication against his people.

Indeed, Noah called upon Us; how excellent are We at responding!

And indeed Nûh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request).

And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer

(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer.

And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We.

And indeed, Nuh (Noah) already called out to Us; (i.e., Allah, through the Angels) so how excellent indeed were The Answerers!
