Tafsir of verse 101
Al-Mukhtasar
Then when the angel appointed to blow the Trumpet will blow the second time which will announce the Day of Judgment, there will be no relations between them to boast through, due to their being engrossed in the horrors of the Hearafter, and they will not question one another due to their being engrossed in what concerns them.
When the Trumpet is blown45, there will be no kinship ties between them on that Day, nor will they ask about one another46.
Notes
[45] When the Trumpet is blown on the Day of Resurrection by an angel, everyone on earth will die. Then it will be blown a second time, and all will raise for Judgment. See 39:68.
[46] For everyone will be worried and anxious about his own plight.
Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another.
And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another.
Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another!
So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other.
Then when the Trumpet is blown, upon that Day there will be no consanguity (any more) among them, nor will they ask one another.
Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allāh as allies. And they will have a great punishment.
He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment.
