سورة المعارج، الآية ٣٤
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ ٣٤
wa-alladhīna hum ʿalā ṣalātihim yuḥāfiẓūna
And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer:
Verse 34 of Surah Al-Ma’arij (70:34), a Meccan surah, is in juz 29, on page 569 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.
80 recitations by 74 reciters: pick one and it plays in the player.
And those who are punctual in their prayers by performing them at their appropriate times, with due purity and composure, whilst not being distracted from them by anything.
and who take due care of their prayers;
And those who guard their Salât (prayers) well.6

And those who are attentive at their worship.
And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship;-
And those who keep a guard on their prayer,
And they are the ones who (strictly) preserve their prayer.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ …
Those are the inheritors …
They share a sequence of words with this verse: useful for telling them apart when memorising.
وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities [i.e., Makkah] and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَٰتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
And they who carefully maintain their prayers -
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَآئِمُونَ
Those who are constant in their prayer
