I presented a wild ass to Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as a gift but he returned it to me. When he perceived signs of despair on my face, he said, "I have declined to accept it because I am in the state of Ihram." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

As-Sa'b bin Jath-thamah (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about the polytheists whose land was attacked at night with the probability that some of their women and offspring were killed or hurt.’ He said “They are from among them.” Agreed upon.

Al Sa’b bin Jaththamah reported the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) as saying “There is no (permission for) protected land except for Allaah and His Prophet. Ibn Shihab said “It has reached me that the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) protected Naqi’.”

Messenger of Allah, we kill the children of the polytheists during the night raids. He said: They are from them.

The Prophet (ﷺ) protected Naqi and said: There is no (permission for) protected land except for Allah Most High.
