Authentic hadith of Sahih Muslim Sahih Muslim 1745a

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ، بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

عَنِ الذَّرَارِيِّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يُبَيَّتُونَ فَيُصِيبُونَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ وَذَرَارِيِّهِمْ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ هُمْ مِنْهُمْ ‏"

It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said:

They are from them.

قَوْله : ( سُئِلَ رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الذَّرَارِيّ مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَبِيتُونَ فَيُصِيبُونَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ وَذَرَارِيّهمْ فَقَالَ : هُمْ مِنْهُمْ ) هَكَذَا هُوَ فِي أَكْثَر نُسَخ بِلَادنَا ( سُئِلَ عَنْ الذَّرَارِيّ ) وَفِي رِوَايَة : ( عَنْ أَهْل الدَّار مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ) وَنَقَلَ الْقَاضِي هَذِهِ عَنْ رِوَايَة جُمْهُور رُوَاة صَحِيح مُسْلِم قَالَ : وَهِيَ الصَّوَاب , فَأَمَّا الرِّوَايَة الْأُولَى فَقَالَ : لَيْسَتْ بِشَيْءٍ , بَلْ هِيَ تَصْحِيف , قَالَ : وَمَا بَعْده هُوَ تَبْيِين الْغَلَط فِيهِ , قُلْت : وَلَيْسَتْ بَاطِلَة كَمَا اِدَّعَى الْقَاضِي بَلْ لَهَا وَجْه , وَتَقْدِيره : سُئِلَ عَنْ حُكْم صِبْيَان الْمُشْرِكِينَ الَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ فَيُ…
