Chapter: During the prostrations one should keep one's arms away from one's sides and the abdomen should be kept away from the thighs.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ

إِذَا صَلَّى فَرَّجَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ‏.‏

Narrated `Abdullah bin Malik bin Buhaina:

Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer prayer he used to keep arms away (from the body) so that the whiteness of his armpits was visible.

الصَّلاةُ عبادةٌ توقيفيَّةٌ، علَّمَنا النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ كَيفيَّتَها وأركانَها وآدابَها وهَيْئاتِها، ومِن ذلك كَيفيَّةُ السُّجودِ ووضْعِ اليدَينِ أثناءَه.ويَتضمَّنُ هذا الحديثُ صِفةَ سجودِ النبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ، فيَروي عبدُ الله بنُ مالكٍ ابنُ بُحَيْنةَ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه -وبُحَيْنةُ هي أمُّ عبدِ الله، وهي صفةٌ أخرى له لا صِفةٌ لمالكٍ- أنَّ النبيَّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ كان يُفرِّجُ بَيْنَ يدَيْه أثناءِ السُّجودِ، فيُنَحِّي كلَّ يدٍ عَنِ الجَنبِ الَّذي يَليها، مِثل الجَناحَينِ، حتَّى يَبدُوَ بَياضُ إبْطَيْهِ؛ وهذا مِن المُبالَغةِ في تجنيحِ الذِّراعَينِ ومُباعَدَتِهما عن جانبَيْه، والمرادُ بالبَياضِ أنَّهما لم يكُنْ تحتَهما شَعرٌ، فكانَا كَلَوْنِ جسَدِه صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ؛ إمَّا خِلْقةً، وإمَّا لدَوامِ نَتفِه للشَّعرِ وتَعاهُدِه لذلك.قيل: وإنَّما يَفعَلُ ذلك؛ لأنَّ فيه إعمالَ اليَدينِ في العِبادةِ، وإخراجَ هَيْئتِها عن صِفةِ التكاسُلِ والاستِهانةِ إلى صِفةِ الاجتِهادِ. وقيل: ليَخِفَّ على الأرضِ ولا يَثقُلَ عليها فيُؤثِّرَ ذلك في جَبهتِه. وقيل: الحِكمةُ في ذلك أنَّه أشبَهُ بالتَّواضُعِ، وأبلَغُ في تَمكينِ الجَبهةِ والأنْفِ مِنَ الأرضِ، وأيضًا ليَتمَيَّزَ كُلُّ عُضوٍ بنَفْسِه، وهذا الفعلُ مخصوصٌ بالرِّجالِ، أمَّا المرأةُ فإنَّ حقَّها أن تضُمَّ جسَدَها؛ لأنَّ المطلوبَ في حقِّها السترُ.وفي الحَديثِ: بَيانُ اهتِمامِ الصَّحابةِ الكِرامِ بنَقلِ أفعالِ النبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ، ووَصْفِها وصفًا دقيقًا. وفيه: بيانُ ما تَكونُ عليه هَيئةُ السُّجودِ في الصَّلاةِ، مِنَ الخُضوعِ للهِ، والتَّذلُّلِ له سُبحانَه.

قَوْلُهُ : ( عَنْ جَعْفَر ) هُوَ اِبْن رَبِيعَة , وَابْن هُرْمُز هُوَ عَبْد الرَّحْمَن الْأَعْرَج , وَالْإِسْنَاد كُلّه بَصْرِيُّونَ. قَوْلُهُ : ( فَرَّجَ بَيْن يَدَيْهِ ) أَيْ نَحَّى كُلّ يَد عَنْ الْجَنْب الَّذِي يَلِيهَا , قَالَ الْقُرْطُبِيّ : الْحِكْمَة فِي اِسْتِحْبَاب هَذِهِ الْهَيْئَة فِي السُّجُود أَنَّهُ يَخِفّ بِهَا اِعْتِمَاده عَنْ وَجْهه وَلَا يَتَأَثَّر أَنْفه وَلَا جَبْهَته , وَلَا يَتَأَذَّى بِمُلَاقَاةِ الْأَرْض , وَقَالَ غَيْره : هُوَ أَشْبَه بِالتَّوَاضُعِ وَأَبْلَغ فِي تَمْكِين الْجَبْهَة وَالْأَنْف مِنْ الْأَرْض مَعَ مُغَايَرَته لِهَيْئَةِ الْكَسْلَان , وَقَالَ نَاصِر الدِّين ابْن الْمُنِير فِي الْحَاشِيَة : الْحِكْمَة فِيهِ أَنْ يَظْهَر كُلّ عُضْو بِنَفْسِهِ وَيَتَمَيَّ…
