سورة الشعراء، الآية ٩٧
تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ ٩٧
tal-lahi in kunnā lafī ḍalālin mubīnin
"By Allāh, we were indeed in manifest error
Verse 97 of Surah Ash-Shu’ara (26:97), a Meccan surah, is in juz 19, on page 371 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.

“By Allah we were deviant from the clear truth.”
“By Allah, we were clearly misguided,
By Allâh, we were truly in a manifest error,
By Allah, of a truth we were in error manifest
"'By Allah, we were truly in an error manifest,
By Allah! we were certainly in manifest error,
"By Allah, decidedly we were indeed in evident error,
وَإِذْ يَتَحَآجُّونَ فِى ٱلنَّارِ فَيَقُولُ ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ
And [mention] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire?"

Indeed, I would then be in manifest error.
