سورة الشعراء، الآية ١٩٩
فَقَرَأَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ ١٩٩
faqara-ahu ʿalayhim mā kānū bihi mu'minīna
And he had recited it to them [perfectly],1061 they would [still] not have been believers in it.
[1061] As a miracle from Allāh.
Verse 199 of Surah Ash-Shu’ara (26:199), a Meccan surah, is in juz 19, on page 375 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.

And then they were to read it to them, they would not become believers, because they would say, “I do not understand it!” So they should praise Allah that it was revealed in their language.
and he had recited it to them25; still, they would not have believed in it.
[25] As a miracle from Allah.
And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it.
And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it.
And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it.
So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein.
Then he had read to them, in no way would they have been believers in it.
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ …
And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend, …
وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ قُبُلًا مَّا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ
And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it] and We gathered together every [created] thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allāh should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ …
Indeed, those upon whom the word [i.e., decree] of your Lord has come into effect will not believe, …
