سورة الصافات، الآية ١٤٦
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِّن يَقْطِينٍ ١٤٦
wa-anbatnā ʿalayhi shajaratan min yaqṭīnin
And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine.1305
[1305] Which is known to give cooling shade and to be a repellent of flies.

I then made a gourd tree grow for him on that barren earth, which would give him shade.

[33] For its cooling shade and as food for him.
And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him.
And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him;
And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind.
And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant.
And We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds.
لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِنِّي خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ ". زَادَ مُسَدَّدٌ " يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى "
مَا يَنْبَغِي لِعَبْدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ إِنِّي خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى ". وَنَسَبَهُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ.
لاَ تُفَضِّلُوا بَيْنَ أَنْبِيَاءِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ، فَيَصْعَقُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ، إِلاَّ مَنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ، ثُمَّ يُنْفَخُ فِيهِ أُخْرَى، فَأَكُونُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ بُعِثَ…
Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be please with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not proper for a servant of Allah to say: “I am better than Yūnus ibn Matta." And he linked him to his father.
لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِعَبْدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى "
