Tafsir of verse 15
Al-Mukhtasar
He is the one who made the earth soft and easy for you to live on, so travel around to its edges and eat from the provision He has prepared for you within it. To Him alone you will be resurrected for accountability and requital.
It is He Who made the earth smooth5 for you, so travel through its regions and eat from His provisions. And to Him is the resurrection.
Notes
[5] i.e., subservient and stable.
He it is Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it); so walk in the path thereof and eat of His provision. And to Him will be the Resurrection.
He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead).
It is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection.
He it is Who made the earth smooth for you, therefore go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance, and to Him is the return after death.
He is (The One) Who made the earth tractable to you; so walk in its territories and eat of His provision; and to Him is the Rising up.
And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allāh has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.
