حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰنَا ٱلْيَقِينُ ٤٧
Transliteration
ḥattā atānā l-yaqīnu
Translation
Until there came to us the certainty [i.e., death]."

Al-Mukhtasar
We persisted in this denial until death came to us and prevented us from repenting.
