فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَلَآ أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ ١٠١
So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.
نُسَيْبَة
Girl Arabic origin Nusayba
Female Companion“Related, of noble lineage”; diminutive of nasiba
Nusayba bint Kaʿb, Umm ʿUmara, was one of the two women present at the second pledge of al-ʿAqaba; at Uhud she fought to defend the Prophet ﷺ and received many wounds. She once said to him: “I see that everything is for men, and women are not mentioned in anything”, and verse 33:35 was revealed (al-Tirmidhi 3211). Nusayba bint al-Harith, Umm ʿAtiyya, transmitted many hadiths.
Nusayba, also pronounced Nasiba, belongs to the root n-s-b of kinship and lineage (nasab): nasib means a relative, a kinsman by marriage and a man of good family; nasiba is its feminine and Nusayba its affectionate diminutive. The name thus evokes belonging to a noble ancestry. Rare in modern usage, it is given in memory of two female Companions of Medina.
The name Nusaybah does not appear as such in the Quran, but its root (ن س ب) occurs 3 times. Examples:
فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَلَآ أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ ١٠١

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا ٥٤
And it is He who has created from water [i.e., semen] a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].
وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ ١٥٨
And they have made [i.e., claimed] between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought [to punishment].

مَا أَرَى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ لِلرِّجَالِ وَمَا أَرَى النِّسَاءَ يُذْكَرْنَ بِشَيْءٍ فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ : (إن الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ )
