When the victory of Allāh has come and the conquest,
Boy Arabic origin Naṣr
In the QuranSurah name“Help, victory” granted by Allah
The word as it is recited in the Quran: Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary, An-Nasr 110:1.
Surah 110, al-Nasr, one of the last revealed, opens thus: “When the help of Allah comes, and the victory” (110:1). The word occurs twenty-two times, including “Help comes only from Allah” (3:126) and the promise “help from Allah and a near victory” (61:13).
Nasr is the verbal noun of nasara, “to help, to support, to grant victory” (root n-s-r, that of ansar, “the helpers”, and nasir, “the one who helps”): it is the aid that brings triumph. The name is given alone or in compounds, like Nasr Allah, “help of Allah”; it should not be confused with Nasir (Nasser), another name from the same root.
Yes: the word Nasr appears in the Quran 22 times, in 15 surahs.
When the victory of Allāh has come and the conquest,
And [you will obtain] another [favor] that you love - victory from Allāh and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers.
And Allāh made it not except as [a sign of] good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise -
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allāh?" Unquestionably, the help of Allāh is near.
