Biography of Mahmoud El Sheimy
His full name is Mahmoud Muhammad Rachad El Sheimy Al Masri. He is considered as one of the most famous and popular Quran readers in the Kuwaiti channel and he is known for his sweet and heartfelt voice.
Sheikh Mahmoud obtained a certification of the “Ten readings” and he is a Muezzin in “Moudi Al Omar” mosque and also a member of the readers’ guild of “the seekers of Allah’s forgiveness”.
I am new to Islam and I find the reciting of the Qur'an very calming and peaceful, I would like to thank mahmoud-el-sheimy for his reciting and may Allah's blessing be upon you all for this wonderful site and the great gift of the Qur'an in this format that I can listen to the words of Allah's messenger in my every day life.
