حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُلاَئِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ، قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ فَأُتِيَ بِشَاةٍ مَصْلِيَّةٍ فَقَالَ كُلُوا ‏.‏ فَتَنَحَّى بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عَمَّارٌ

مَنْ صَامَ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي يَشُكُّ فِيهِ النَّاسُ فَقَدْ عَصَى أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

Silah bin Zufar said:

"We were with Ammar bin Yasir when a roasted sheep was brought and he said: 'Eat.' Someone among the people said: 'I am fasting.' So Ammar said: 'Whoever fasts on a day in which there is doubt, then he has disobeyed Abul-Qasim (pbuh)."

قَوْلُهُ : ( أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ ) اِسْمُهُ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْأَزْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ صَدُوقٌ يُخْطِئُ مِنْ الثَّامِنَةِ ( عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ ) بِكَسْرِ الصَّادِ الْمُهْمَلَةِ وَتَخْفِيفِ اللَّامِ الْمَفْتُوحَةِ وَزُفَرُ بِالزَّايِ وَالْفَاءِ عَلَى وَزْنِ عُمَرَ كُوفِيٌّ عَبْسِيٌّ مِنْ كِبَارِ التَّابِعِينَ وَفُضَلَائِهِمْ. قَوْلُهُ : ( كُنَّا عِنْدَ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ) صَحَابِيٌّ جَلِيلٌ مَشْهُورٌ مِنْ السَّابِقِينَ الْأَوَّلِينَ بَدْرِيٌّ قُتِلَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ بِصِفِّينَ سَنَةً سَبْعٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ ( مَصْلِيَّةٍ ) أَيْ مَشْوِيَّةٍ ( فَتَنَحَّى بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ ) أَيْ اِعْتَزَلَ ( فَقَالَ ) أَيْ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِي اِعْتَزَلَ وَاحْتَرَزَ عَنْ أَكْلِهَا…

AbuIshaq reported on the authority of Silah: We were with Ammar on the day when the appearance of the moon was doubtful. (The meat of) goat was brought to him. Some people kept aloof from (eating) it. Ammar said: He who keeps fast on this day disobeys AbulQasim (i.e. the Prophet) (ﷺ).

مَنْ صَامَ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ فَقَدْ عَصَى أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏

’Ammar bin Yasir (RAA) narrated, ‘Whoever fasts the day of doubt he has then disobeyed Abu al-Qasim (the Prophet).’ Related by the five Imams, and Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih

‘Ammar b. Yasir said, "He who fasts on a day about which he is doubtful has disobeyed Abul Qasim"* *i.e., the Prophet. Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.
