حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ تَزَوَّجَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ سَيِّدِهِ فَهُوَ عَاهِرٌ ‏"

(Another chain) Jabir bin Abdullah narrated that:

Abdullah narrated that the Prophet said: "Whichever slave gets married without the permission of his owner, then he is a fornicator."

Reported by At-Tirmidhi (No. 1112), Abu Dawud (No. 2078), Ahmad (No. 13696, 14500, 14560) and Ad-Darimi (No. 2135).

قَوْلُهُ : ( هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ) فِي سَنَدِهِ : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ , وَقَدْ عَرَفْت آنِفًا أَنَّهُ قَدْ اِحْتَجَّ بِهِ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ , وَتَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ , وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ مِمَّنْ اِحْتَجَّ بِهِ , وَلِذَلِكَ صَحَّحَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ. قَالَ الْخَزْرَجِيُّ فِي الْخُلَاصَةِ : قَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ : صَدُوقٌ , سَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا يَقُولُ : كَانَ أَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ وَالْحُمَيْدِيُّ يَحْتَجُّونَ بِحَدِيثِ اِبْنِ عُقَيْلٍ اِنْتَهَى.…

If a slave marries without his master’s permission, he is a fornicator

Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a slave marries without his master’s permission, he is a fornicator."

عَبْدٍ تَزَوَّجَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ مَوَالِيهِ فَهُوَ عَاهِرٌ ‏"

Narrated by Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh Explained

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Any slave who marries without the permission of his masters or owners is (like) a fornicator." [Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i and at-Tirmidhi; the latter graded it Sahih (authentic), as did Ibn Hibban].

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ تَزَوَّجَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ مَوَالِيهِ أَوْ أَهْلِهِ , فَهُوَ عَاهِرٌ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ…

Jabir reported the Prophet as saying, “Any slave who marries without his master's permission is a fornicator.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Darimi transmitted it.

وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ تَزَوَّجَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ سَيِّدِهِ فَهُوَ عَاهِرٌ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ والدرامي
