"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered me to recite Al-Mu'awwidhatain at the end of every Salat."

أَنْ أَقْرَأَ بِالْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ‏.‏

أَلاَ إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْىُ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ أَلاَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيَفْتَحُ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ وَسَتُكْفَوْنَ الْمُؤْنَةَ فَلاَ يَعْجِزَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَلْهُوَ بِأَسْهُمِهِ ‏"

Narrated by Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir

My sister took a vow to walk on foot to the House of Allah (i.e. Ka'bah). She asked me to consult the Prophet (ﷺ) about her. So I consulted the Prophet (ﷺ). He said: Let her walk and ride.

‏ ‏"‏ لِتَمْشِ وَلْتَرْكَبْ ‏"

‘Uqba b. 'Amir reported God’s messenger as saying, “If any Muslim performs ablution well, then stands and prays two rak'as, setting about their performance both inwardly and outwardly, he will be guaranteed paradise.” Muslim transmitted it.

`Uqba b. `Amir reported God's messenger as saying, "The people accepted Islam, but `Amr b. al-`As had faith[*]." *Some accepted Islam outwardly, possibly through fear, but `Amr was a genuine believer. Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib tradition whose isnad is not strong.

Uqbah said to the Prophet (ﷺ): My sister has taken a vow that she will walk to the House of Allah (the Ka'bah). Thereupon he said: Allah will not do anything of the walking of your sister to the House of Allah (i.e. the Ka'bah).

‏ ‏"‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَصْنَعُ بِمَشْىِ أُخْتِكَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ شَيْئًا ‏"

Narrated by Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir

‘If I were to walk on a live coal or a sword, or if I were to sew shows to my feet, that would be better for me than walking on the grave of a Muslim. And I see no difference between relieving myself in the midst of graves or in the middle of the marketplace.”

"‏ لأَنْ أَمْشِيَ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ أَوْ سَيْفٍ أَوْ أَخْصِفَ نَعْلِي بِرِجْلِي أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَمْشِيَ عَلَى قَبْرِ مُسْلِمٍ وَمَا أُبَالِي أَوَسَطَ الْقُبُورِ قَضَيْتُ حَاجَتِي أَوْ وَسَطَ السُّوقِ ‏"

"Whoever makes a vow and does not state it specifically, the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath. "

"‏ مَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا وَلَمْ يُسَمِّهِ فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ ‏"

Narrated by Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever learns how to shoot (arrows) then abandons it, has disobeyed me.’”

"‏ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الرَّمْىَ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ فَقَدْ عَصَانِي ‏"

Narrated by Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to his Companions: ‘Do not eat onions,’ then he said in a low voice: ‘Raw.’”

"‏ لاَ تَأْكُلُوا الْبَصَلَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً ‏"‏ النِّيءَ ‏"

Narrated by Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The one who recites the Qur'an loudly is like one who gives charity openly, and the one who recites the Qur'an silently is like the one who gives charity in secret.'"

"‏ إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَالَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ ‏"

Narrated by Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir

He asked the Messenger of Allah [SAW] about Al-Mu'awwidhatain. 'Uqbah said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] recited them when he led us in Salah Al-Ghadah (As-Subh)."

فَأَمَّنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهِمَا فِي صَلاَةِ الْغَدَاةِ ‏.‏

Narrated by Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir

He asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about Al-Mua'awwidhatain. Uqbah said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in praying Fajr and recited them."

فَأَمَّنَا بِهِمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ ‏.‏
