Duas for marriage and birth

Bāraka l-lāhu laka wa bāraka ʿalayka wa jamaʿa baynakumā fī khayrBaraka l-lahu laka wa baraka ‘alayka wa jama‘a baynakuma fi khayr

May Allah bless for you (your spouse) and bless you, and may He unite both of you in goodness.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka khayrahā, wa khayra mā jabaltahā ʿalayh. wa aʿūdhu bika min sharrihā wa sharri mā jabaltahā ʿalayhAllahumma inni as’aluka khayraha, wa khayra ma jabaltaha ‘alayh. wa a‘udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma jabaltaha ‘alayh

(when you marry a woman or buy a maidservant, you should say:(O Allah, I ask You for the goodness within her and the goodness that you have made her inclined towards, and I take refuge with You from the evil within her and the evil that you have made her inclined towards.))(and if you buy a camel, then you should take hold of it’s hump and say likewise.)

Bismi l-lāh. Allāhumma jannibna sh-shayṭān, wa jannibi sh-shayṭāna mā razaqtanāBismi l-lah. Allahumma jannibna sh-shaytan, wa jannibi sh-shaytana ma razaqtana

In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep the devil away from us and keep the devil away from what you have blessed us with.

Bāraka l-lāhu laka fī-l-mawhūbi lak, wa shakarta l-wāhib, wa balagha ashuddah, wa ruziqta birrah
Bāraka l-lāhu laka, wa bāraka ʿalayka, wa jazāka l-lāhu khayrā, wa razaqaka l-lāhu mithlah, wa ajzala thawābakBaraka l-lahu laka fi-l-mawhubi lak, wa shakarta l-wahib, wa balagha ashuddah, wa ruziqta birrah
Baraka l-lahu laka, wa baraka ‘alayka, wa jazaka l-lahu khayra, wa razaqaka l-lahu mithlah, wa ajzala thawabak

May Allah bless you with His gift to you and may you (the new parent) give thanks, may the child reach the maturity of years, and may you be granted its righteousness. The reply of the person being congratulated is to say: May Allah bless you, and shower His blessings upon you, and may Allah reward you well and bestow upon you its like and reward you abundantly

Uʿīdhukumā bi-kalimāti l-lāhi t-tāmmāti min kulli shayṭān wa hāmmah, wa min kulli ʿayn lāmmahU‘idhukuma bi-kalimati l-lahi t-tammati min kulli shaytan wa hammah, wa min kulli ‘ayn lammah

Ibn ʿAbbas related that the Messenger of Allah used to commend Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn to Allah’s protection, saying:(I commend you two to the protection of Allah’s perfect words from every devil, vermin, and every evil eye.)
