Verse 27 of Surah Al-Qalam (68:27), a Meccan surah, is in juz 29, on page 565 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.
80 recitations by 74 reciters: pick one and it plays in the player.
“Nay! We have been deprived of harvesting our crops because of us having been determined to prevent the poor from eating them.”
Rather, we have been deprived.”
(Then they said): "Nay! Indeed we are deprived of (the fruits)!"
Nay, but we are desolate!
"Indeed we are shut out (of the fruits of our labour)!"
Nay! we are made to suffer privation.
No indeed, (but) we are dispossessed!"
They share a sequence of words with this verse: useful for telling them apart when memorising.
بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ
Rather, we have been deprived."
