سورة القلم، الآية ١٥
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ١٥
idhā tut'lā ʿalayhi āyātunā qāla asāṭīru l-awalīna
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."
Verse 15 of Surah Al-Qalam (68:15), a Meccan surah, is in juz 29, on page 564 of the mushaf. Read it in Arabic with its transliteration, translations and tafsir, and listen to it recited by 74 reciters.

When My verses are read to him, he says, “This are the tales written of the people of the past.”
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, “Ancient fables!”
When Our Verses (of the Qur’ân) are recited to him, he says: "Tales of the men of old!"
That, when Our revelations are recited unto him, he saith: Mere fables of the men of old.
When to him are rehearsed Our Signs, "Tales of the ancients", he cries!
When Our communications are recited to him, he says: Stories of those of yore.
When Our ayat (Verses, signs) are recited to him, he says, "Myths of the earliest (people)."
ذَرْنِى وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيدًا …
Leave Me with the one I created alone …
