Text of verse 15:60

إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ ۝٦٠

Transliteration

illā im'ra-atahu qaddarnā innahā lamina l-ghābirīna

Translation

Except his wife." We [i.e., Allāh] decreed that she is of those who remain behind.⁶⁷⁹

Al-Mukhtasar

Except for his wife, for We have decreed her to be one of those who stay behind included in the destruction.

[28] For she has collaborated with the evildoers.

"Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)."
