Tafsir of verse 19
Al-Mukhtasar
These are two parties arguing regarding their Lord, as to which of them is right: the party of faith and party of disbelief. The party of disbelief will be encompassed by the fire, just as clothes cover the person wearing them, and extremely hot water will be poured on top of their heads.
These are two opponents12 who are in dispute about their Lord. As for the disbelievers, garments of Fire will be tailored for them, and scalding water will be poured over their heads,

These are two adversaries who dispute about their Lord; then (as to) those who disbelieve, for them are cut out garments of fire, boiling water shall be poured over their heads.
These (The Arabic pronoun is in the dual form) are two adversaries (who) took adversary stands concerning their Lord. So, for the ones who have disbelieved, clothes of fire will be cut up; there will be poured from above their heads scalding water.
‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I will be the first to kneel before the Most-Merciful on the Day of Resurrection for the dispute. Qays ibn ‘Abbād said that this verse: {These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord} [Sūrat…
