هَنَاء
Girl Arabic origin Hanāʾ
“Peaceful happiness”, effortless well-being
The noun hanaʾ is not in the Quran, but the adjective haniʾ occurs in the welcome of the blessed: “Eat and drink in contentment (haniʾan) for what you used to do” (52:19; 69:24).
Hanaʾ is tranquil happiness, well-being that comes without toil or bitterness (root h-n-ʾ, that of haniʾ, “pleasant, wholesome”, and tahniʾa, “congratulation”). The name is very common in the Maghreb (Hanae in Morocco), the Middle East and Turkey. It should not be confused with the Japanese Hana (“flower”).
The name Hana does not appear as such in the Quran, but its root (ه ن أ) occurs 4 times. Examples:
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ١٩

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَآ أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْخَالِيَةِ ٢٤
