Say, "In the bounty of Allāh and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."
Girl Arabic origin Faraḥ
“Joy”, the gladness of the heart
The Quran distinguishes blameworthy joy, arrogant exultation, from praiseworthy joy: “Say: in the bounty of Allah and in His mercy, in that let them rejoice (fal-yafrahu)” (10:58); the martyrs are “rejoicing (farihin) in what Allah has given them of His bounty” (3:170).
Farah is joy, the contentment of the heart, the opposite of sadness (root f-r-h). The name is very common throughout the Arab world, in France and in Turkey (Ferah). In Persian, Farah (from farr, “splendour”) is a different word, borne notably by an empress of Iran.
The name Farah does not appear as such in the Quran, but its root (ف ر ح) occurs 22 times. Examples:

Rejoicing in what Allāh has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
