حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، - يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْعَلاَءِ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

"‏ مَنْ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ بِسُوءٍ عُدِلْنَ لَهُ بِعِبَادَةِ ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً ‏"

Abu Hurairah narrated that:

Allah's Messenger (S) said: "Whoever prays six Rak'ah after Al-Maghrib, and he does not speak about anything between them, then they will be counted for him as twelve years of worship."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ ) هُوَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ وَقَدْ يُنْسَبُ إِلَى جَدِّهِ ضَعِيفٌ قَالَهُ الْحَافِظُ. قَوْلُهُ : ( مَنْ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ ) أَيْ بَعْدَ فَرْضِهِ ( سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ ) الْمَفْهُومُ أَنَّ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الرَّاتِبَتَيْنِ دَاخِلَتَانِ فِي السِّتِّ وَكَذَا فِي الْعِشْرِينَ الْمَذْكُورَةِ فِي الْحَدِيثِ الْآتِي قَالَهُ الطِّيبِيُّ , قَالَ الْقَارِي فَيُصَلِّي الْمُؤَكَّدَتَيْنِ بِتَسْلِيمَةٍ وَفِي الْبَاقِي بِالْخِيَارِ ( لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ ) أَيْ فِي أَثْنَاءِ أَدَائِهِنَّ , وَقَالَ اِبْنُ حَجَرٍ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مِنْ كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ( بِسُوءٍ ) أَيْ بِكَلَامٍ سَيِّئٍ أَوْ بِكَلَامٍ يُوجِبُ سُوءً…
