Good (hasan) Sunan Abu Dawud 1107

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not lengthen the sermon on Friday. He would say a few words.

لاَ يُطِيلُ الْمَوْعِظَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِنَّمَا هُنَّ كَلِمَاتٌ يَسِيرَاتٌ ‏.‏

"I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivering the khutbah on Friday standing, then he sat briefly and did not speak, then he stood up and delivered a second khutbah. So whoever tells you that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to deliver the khutbah seated, he has lied."

يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ قِعْدَةً لاَ يَتَكَلَّمُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ خُطْبَةً أُخْرَى

"I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivering the Khutbah standing up, then he sat down for a while and did not speak, then he stood up and delivered another Khutbah. Whoever tells you that the Prophet (ﷺ) delivered a Khutbah sitting do not believe him."

يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ قَعْدَةً لاَ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِيهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَخَطَبَ خُطْبَةً أُخْرَى

"A man asked the Prophet whether he could perform prayer in a garment in which he had intercourse with his wife. He said: 'Yes, unless he sees something on it, in which case he should wash it.'"

سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْبِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي فِيهِ أَهْلَهُ قَالَ ‏"‏ نَعَمْ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَرَى فِيهِ شَيْئًا فَيَغْسِلَهُ ‏"
