"The Messenger of Allah married he while he was Halal and he stayed with her while he was Halal. She died in Sarif, and we buried her at the (site of the) tent where he had stayed wit her."

تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهُوَ حَلاَلٌ وَبَنَى بِهَا حَلاَلاً وَمَاتَتْ بِسَرِفَ وَدَفَنَّاهَا فِي الظُّلَّةِ الَّتِي بَنَى بِهَا فِيهَا ‏

Narrated by Maymūna bint al-Hārith

The Prophet (ﷺ) married Maimunah (RA) when he was in the state of Ihram (during pilgrimage). [Agreed upon].

God’s messenger married Maimuna when he was not in the sacred state and cohabited with her when he was not in the sacred state, and I was the messenger between them. Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it, the latter saying that this is a hasan tradition.
