حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْكَلَاعِيُّ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْمَكِّيِّ قَالَ حَجَجْتُ مَعَ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْكِنْدِيِّ فَبَعَثَنِي إِلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ ابْنَةِ عُثْمَانَ صَاحِبِ الْكَعْبَةِ أَسْأَلُهَا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ سَمِعَتْهَا مِنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَ فِيمَا حَدَّثَتْنِي أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا طَلَاقَ وَلَا عِتَاقَ فِي إِغْلَاقٍ

‘A’isha told of hearing God’s Messenger say, “There is no divorce or emancipation in case of ighlaq." It is said that the meaning of ighlaq is “constraint”. Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا طَلَاقَ وَلَا عَتَاقَ فِي إِغْلَاقٍ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَه قيل: معنى الإغلاق: الْإِكْرَاه
