حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ يَقُولُ قَرَأَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ فِي مَسِيرِهِ سُورَةَ الْفَتْحِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً نَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ الْفَتْحِ وَهُوَ فِي مَسِيرٍ لَهُ فَجَعَلَ يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ قَالَ فَرَجَّعَ فِيهَا قَالَ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَجْتَمِعَ النَّاسُ عَلَيَّ لَحَكَيْتُ لَكُمْ قِرَاءَتَهُ حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ وَأَبُو طَالِبِ بْنُ جَابَانَ الْقَارِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ ابْنُ جَابَانَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ آ آ

On the Day of the Conquest of Mecca, the Prophet (ﷺ) recited Surat Al-Fath in a vibrating and pleasant voice. (Muawaiya, the subnarrator said, "If I could imitate the recitation of the Prophet (ﷺ) I would do so.")

قَرَأَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ سُورَةَ الْفَتْحِ فَرَجَّعَ فِيهَا‏.‏ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَوْ شِئْتُ أَنْ أَحْكِيَ لَكُمْ قِرَاءَةَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَفَعَلْتُ‏.‏

I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting (Qur'an) while he was riding on his she camel or camel which was moving, carrying him. He was reciting Surat Fath or part of Surat Fath very softly and in an Attractive vibrating tone.

يَقْرَأُ وَهْوَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ ـ أَوْ جَمَلِهِ ـ وَهْىَ تَسِيرُ بِهِ وَهْوَ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ الْفَتْحِ أَوْ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْفَتْحِ قِرَاءَةً لَيِّنَةً يَقْرَأُ وَهْوَ يُرَجِّعُ‏.‏
