Musnad Ahmad 19347

I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he prayed for a woman who had died in the state of delivery. He stood in front of her waist.

صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَصَلَّى عَلَى أُمِّ كَعْبٍ مَاتَتْ وَهِيَ نُفَسَاءُ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِلصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهَا وَسَطَهَا ‏.‏

Narrated by Samurah ibn Jundub

This hadith has been narrated by Husain with the same chain of transmitters, but no mention is made of Umm Ka'b.

Samurah bin Jundub (RAA) narrated, ‘I offered the funeral prayer behind the Prophet (ﷺ) for a woman who had died during child-birth and he (prayed) standing opposite the middle of her body.' Agreed upon.

"I offered the funeral prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for Umm Ka'b who had died during childbirth, and during the prayer, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood at her middle."
