Narrator:Talq ibn Alī

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَيْسَ بْنَ طَلْقٍ الْحَنَفِيَّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم

ـ سُئِلَ عَنْ مَسِّ الذَّكَرِ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ لَيْسَ فِيهِ وُضُوءٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنْكَ ‏"

Qais bin Talq Al-Hanafi narrated that his father said:

"I heard the Messenger of Allah being asked about touching the penis. He said: 'That does not require ablution, because it is a part of you (your body).'"

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan Ibn Majah

قَوْله ( إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنْك ) أَيْ جُزْء مِنْك فَلَوْ كَانَ مَسّه نَاقِضًا لَنَقَضَ مَسّ كُلّ جُزْء فَفِي الْحُكْم بِنَقْضِ الْوُضُوء مِنْهُ حَرَج مَدْفُوع شَرْعًا وَصَنِيع الْمُصَنِّف يُشِير إِلَى تَرْجِيح الْأَخْذ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيث آخِر الْبَاب وَسَمَّاهُ بَاب الرُّخْصَة بَعْد الْعَزِيمَة وَيُؤْخَذ بِالْمُتَأَخِّرِ وَذَلِكَ لِأَنَّ بِالتَّعَارُضِ حَصَلَ الشَّكّ فِي النَّقْض وَالْأَصْل عَدَمه فَيُؤْخَذ بِهِ وَلِأَنَّ حَدِيث مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ يَحْتَمِل التَّأْوِيل بِأَنْ يُجْعَل مَسّ الذَّكَر كِنَايَة عَنْ الْبَوْل لِأَنَّهُ غَالِبًا يُرَادِف خُرُوج الْحَدَث فَعَبَّرَ بِهِ عَنْهُ كَمَا عَبَّرَ بِالْمَجِيءِ مِنْ الْغَائِط عَمَّا يُقْصَد الْغَائِط لِأَجْلِهِ فِي قَوْله تَعَالَى ( أَوْ جَاءَ…

A man said: “I touched my penis” or he said, “Does a man who touch his penis during the prayer should perform Wudu (ablution)?” The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, “No, it is only a part of your body”. [Reported by Al-Khamsa. Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound).
