حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْغَازِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ أَذَاخِرَ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَىَّ وَعَلَىَّ رَيْطَةٌ مُضَرَّجَةٌ بِالْعُصْفُرِ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ مَا هَذِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَعَرَفْتُ مَا كَرِهَ فَأَتَيْتُ أَهْلِي وَهُمْ يَسْجُرُونَ تَنُّورَهُمْ فَقَذَفْتُهَا فِيهِ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ مِنَ الْغَدِ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ مَا فَعَلَتِ الرَّيْطَةُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ ‏

"‏ أَلاَ كَسَوْتَهَا بَعْضَ أَهْلِكَ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ لِلنِّسَاءِ ‏"

It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, that his grandfather said:

“We came with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was Thaniyyat Adhakhir. He turned to me, and I was wearing a thin cloak dyed with safflower, and said: ‘What is this?’ And I realized that he disliked it. I came to my family when they were heating their oven and threw it (in the oven). Then I came to him the following day and he said: ‘O ‘Abdullah, what happened to the thin cloak?’ I told him (what I had done) and he said: ‘Why did you not give it to some of your family to wear, for there is nothing wrong with it for women.’”

قَوْله ( رَيْطَة ) بِفَتْحِ رَاءٍ وَسُكُون يَاء كُلّ ثَوْب رَقِيق مِنْ كَتَّان لَمْ يَكُنْ رُقْعَتَيْنِ مُتَضَامَّتَيْنِ بَلْ وَاحِدَة ( مُضَرَّجَة ) اِسْم مَفْعُول مِنْ ضَرَّجْت الثَّوْب تَضْرِيجًا بِالضَّادِ الْمُعْجَمَة وَالرَّاء الْمُهْمَلَة وَالْجِيم إِذَا سَقَيْت بِالْحُمْرَةِ وَهُوَ دُون الْمُشْبَع وَفَوْق الْمُوَرَّد ( وَهُمْ يَسْجُرُونَ ) مِنْ سَجَرْت التَّنُّور كَنَصَرَ إِذَا حَمَيْته ( مَا فَعَلَتْ الرَّيْطَة ) عَلَى بِنَاء الْفَاعِل وَالرَّيْطَة بِالرَّفْعِ فَاعِل وَهَذَا كِنَايَة أَيْ مَا حَصَلَ لَهَا وَمَا حَالهَا وَهَذَا يَدُلّ عَلَى كَرَاهَة الْمَصْبُوغ بِالْعُصْفُرِ لِلرِّجَالِ وَقِيلَ بَلْ كَرَاهَة الْأَحْمَر مُطْلَقًا.…
