Authentic hadith of Sahih al-Bukhari Companion’s words (mawquf) Sahih al-Bukhari 5323

Narrator:Ā’ishah

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ مَا لِفَاطِمَةَ

أَلاَ تَتَّقِي اللَّهَ، يَعْنِي فِي قَوْلِهَا لاَ سُكْنَى وَلاَ نَفَقَةَ

Narrated Al-Qasim:

Aisha said, "What is wrong with Fatima? Why doesn't she fear Allah?" by saying that a divorced lady is not entitled to be provided with residence and sustenance (by her husband).

قَوْله ( حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّد بْن بَشَّار ) كَذَا فِي الرِّوَايَات الَّتِي اِتَّصَلَتْ لَنَا مِنْ طَرِيق الْفَرَبْرِيّ , وَكَذَا أَخْرَجَهُ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيّ عَنْ اِبْن عَبْد الْكَرِيم عَنْ بُنْدَار وَهُوَ مُحَمَّد بْن بَشَّار , وَقَالَ الْمِزِّيُّ فِي " الْأَطْرَاف " أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيّ عَنْ مُحَمَّد غَيْر مَنْسُوب وَهُوَ مُحَمَّد بْن بَشَّار كَذَا نَسَبه أَبُو مَسْعُود. قُلْت وَلَمْ أَرَهُ غَيْر مَنْسُوب إِلَّا فِي رِوَايَة النَّسَفِيِّ عَنْ الْبُخَارِيّ , وَكَأَنَّهُ وَقَعَ كَذَلِكَ فِي " أَطْرَاف خُلْف " وَمِنْهَا نَقْل الْمِزِّيّ , وَلَمْ أُنَبِّه عَلَى هَذَا الْمَوْضِع فِي الْمُقَدِّمَة اِعْتِمَادًا عَلَى مَا اِتَّصَلَ لَنَا مِنْ الرِّوَايَات إِلَى الْفَرَبْرِيّ. قَوْله ( عَنْ عَائِ…

Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) severely objected to the tradition of Fatimah daughter of Qays. She said: Fatimah lived in a desolate house and she feared for her loneliness there. Hence the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) accorded permission to her (to leave the place).
