حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أُمَّ شَرِيكٍ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

أَمَرَهَا بِقَتْلِ الأَوْزَاغِ‏.‏

Narrated Um Sharik:

That the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered her to kill Salamanders.

حَدِيثُ أُمّ شَرِيك " أَنَّ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْأَوْزَاغ " هَكَذَا أَوْرَدَهُ مُخْتَصَرًا وَسَيَأْتِي بِأَتَمّ مِنْ هَذَا فِي قِصَّة إِبْرَاهِيم مِنْ أَحَادِيث الْأَنْبِيَاء , وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي الَّذِي قَبْله حَدِيث عَائِشَة بِأَتَمّ مِنْهُ , وَأُمّ شَرِيك اِسْمهَا غُزَيَّةُ بِالْمُعْجَمَتَيْنِ مُصَغَّر , وَقِيلَ : غُزَيْلَةُ , يُقَال هِيَ عَامِرِيَّة قُرَشِيَّة , وَيُقَال أَنْصَارِيَّة وَيُقَال دَوْسِيَّةٌ.…

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ordered to kill geckos, saying: They used to blow into [the fire] on Ibrahīm

Umm Sharīk (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ordered her to kill geckos and said: “They used to blow [the fire] on Ibrahīm."

-وعن أم شريك رضي الله عنها أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أمرها بقتل الأوزاغ وقال‏:‏ “كان ينفخ على إبراهيم‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
