حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ

اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَمَعَهُ مَنْ يَسْتُرُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ

Narrated Isma'li bin Abu Khalid:

`Abdullah bin Abu `Aufa said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) performed the `Umra. He performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba and offered two rak`at behind the Maqam (Abraham's place) and was accompanied by those who were screening him from the people." Somebody asked `Abdullah, "Did Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) enter the Ka`ba?" `Abdullah replied in the negative.

Reported by Al-Bukhari (No. 1600) and Abu Dawud (No. 1902).

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

قَوْله : ( خَالِد بْن عَبْد اللَّه ) هُوَ الطَّحَّان الْبَصْرِيّ , وَهَذَا الْإِسْنَاد نِصْفه بَصْرِيّ وَنِصْفه كُوفِيّ. قَوْله : ( اِعْتَمَرَ ) أَيْ فِي سَنَة سَبْع عَام الْقَضِيَّة. قَوْله : ( أَدَخَلَ رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكَعْبَة ) ؟ الْهَمْزَة لِلِاسْتِفْهَامِ , أَيْ فِي تِلْكَ الْعُمْرَة. قَوْله : ( قَالَ لَا ) قَالَ النَّوَوِيّ : قَالَ الْعُلَمَاء سَبَبُ تَرْك دُخُوله مَا كَانَ فِي الْبَيْت مِنْ الْأَصْنَام وَالصُّوَر , وَلَمْ يَكُنْ الْمُشْرِكُونَ يَتْرُكُونَهُ لِيُغَيِّرهَا , فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي الْفَتْح أُمِرَ بِإِزَالَةِ الصُّوَر ثُمَّ دَخَلَهَا , يَعْنِي كَمَا فِي حَدِيث اِبْن عَبَّاس الَّذِي بَعْده اِنْتَهَى. وَيَحْتَمِل أَنْ يَكُون دُخُول الْبَيْت لَم…

Authentic Sahih al-Bukhari 4255

When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) performed the `Umra (which he performed in the year following the treaty of Al-Hudaibiya) we were screening Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) from the infidels and their boys lest they should harm him.

لَمَّا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَتَرْنَاهُ مِنْ غِلْمَانِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَمِنْهُمْ، أَنْ يُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏
