Ibrahim14:34

And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor [i.e., blessings] of Allāh, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.

An-Nahl16:18

And if you should count the favors of Allāh, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

Maryam19:84

So be not impatient over them. We only count out [i.e., allow] to them a [limited] number.

Maryam19:94

He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting.

Al-Hajj22:47

And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allāh will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.

As-Sajdah32:5

He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.

Sad38:62

And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst?

Why do the numbers differ from one website to another?

  • Some count the root (every word built on it), others a single word, others the exact form as written in the Mushaf: all three numbers are given here.
  • Prefixes and suffixes (و، ب، ال…) are taken into account; a search on the raw text may miss some, or count words from another root that are spelled the same way.
  • The counts follow the Hafs reading and the grammatical analysis of each of the 77,429 words of the Quran.

Results are ranked automatically: only texts of the Quran and translations of their meaning are shown, with no machine-written text. For a legal opinion, consult a scholar.
