Tafsir of verse 7
Al-Mukhtasar
O you who have faith in Allah, and who acted on what He ordained for them, if you help Allah by helping His prophet and his religion, and by fighting the disbelievers, He will help you by granting you dominance over them and He will keep your feet firm in battle when you face them.
O you who believe, if you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm6.
Notes

O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allâh, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.
O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm.
O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.

O you who have believed, in case you vindicate Allah, He will give you victory and confirm your feet (i.e., give you victory).
[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is Allāh." And were it not that Allāh checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allāh is much mentioned [i.e., praised]. And Allāh will surely support those who support Him [i.e., His cause]. Indeed, Allāh is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
