Tafsir of verse 45
Al-Mukhtasar
Whenever Allah is mentioned on His own, the hearts of the idolaters who do not believe in the Hereafter and the resurrection, reckoning and recompense that will take place therein, become averse. But when the idols that they worship other than Allah are mentioned they become happy and joyful.
When Allah alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but as soon as those other than Him are mentioned, they rejoice.
And when Allâh Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allâh توحيد الله) and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him [like all false deities other than Allâh, - it may be a Messenger, an angel, a pious man, a jinni, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks and others.] are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!9
Notes

When Allah, the One and Only, is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust and horror; but when (gods) other than He are mentioned, behold, they are filled with joy!
And when Allah alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter shrink, and when those besides Him are mentioned, lo! they are joyful.
And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of the ones who do not believe in the Hereafter get disgusted, and when the ones apart from Him are mentioned, only then are they glad at the tidings
And [it is] so the hearts of those who disbelieve in the Hereafter will incline toward it [i.e., deceptive speech] and that they will be satisfied with it and that they will commit that which they are committing.
